Our family has a story I never imagined I would have to share, but I’m sharing it because we are holding onto hope that our journey isn’t finished yet.
My husband and I are blessed with three beautiful children, and at one point in our lives, we truly believed our family was complete. In a very “in the moment” decision, we chose to have my fallopian tubes removed. At the time, it felt like the right decision for where we were in life. We never imagined that our hearts would change the way they have.
But life changes. People change. Families grow, not just in size, but in love, perspective, and the dreams they have for their future.
Since making that decision, my husband and I have both realized that we deeply want the opportunity to have another baby together. Unfortunately, because my tubes were removed, getting pregnant naturally is no longer an option for us. IVF is now our chance to grow our family.
It’s difficult to admit that we made a permanent decision that we now wish we could take back. We know that this was a choice we made, and we take responsibility for it. But we also know that sometimes you don’t realize how much your heart can change until you’re standing on the other side of a decision you can’t undo.
That is why we are fundraising for IVF. The financial cost is more than we can take on alone, but the possibility of another child means so much to us that we have decided to put our pride aside and ask for help.
Every donation, no matter the amount, brings us one step closer to the possibility of holding another baby in our arms. And if you aren’t able to donate, simply sharing our story, praying for us, or sending encouragement means more than you know.
We understand there are no guarantees with IVF, but we want the opportunity to try. We don’t want to spend the rest of our lives wondering, “What if?”
Thank you for reading our story, supporting our family, and helping us hold onto hope for one more little miracle. ❤️
