In 2021 I lost my mother to Congestive Heart Failure, and I responded with my first fundraiser on behalf of the American Heart Association. The holidays became a very difficult time for me. I am choosing to reframe how I view the holiday season and make it a time to give, and I hope you will join me.
Heart disease and stroke are the top two killers worldwide, and they don’t just affect older people. In fact, heart disease is getting younger, and young people are often unaware of the risk they face. Whether it’s undiagnosed high blood pressure, poor mental health, or vaping, we need your help raising the critical funds to support our mission: to be a relentless force for a world of longer, healthier lives.
