We are a group of volunteers from 24 countries who have developed personal relationships with our families in Gaza. We have been supporting these families for months, and some, for over a year. We are collectively raising money for over 170 families and 2 mutual aid projects!
Research consistently shows that direct aid—giving money directly to people in need—is one of the most efficient, flexible, and impactful forms of humanitarian aid.
We are now entering the fifth month of the blockade on Gaza. Even though a handful of aid trucks have been permitted to enter, this has not changed conditions on the ground. There are still severe shortages and everyone is struggling to find food. Even worse, the small amount of aid permitted to enter is causing a rise in violence among the starved population.
All of this is happening amidst the worst violence yet. Attacks deliberately target civilian infrastructure, such as hospitals, water desalination plants, restaurants, and homes, in order to create conditions that are incompatible to sustain life. 80% of Gaza is now militarily occupied or under evacuation orders and people have nowhere to go!
These funds will be used by the families to pay for the exorbitant prices of basic necessities, such as food, water, medicine, baby formula, displacement tents, evacuation costs, fuel, eSIM, etc. Your donation will help them to survive the most difficult moment of the genocide to-date.
Solidarity means believing that people in crisis know best
what they need and how to obtain it.
Solidarity means providing agency instead of control.
Solidarity means trust.
