Friends & Family,
As some of you may know, my mother was in a pretty serious work accident on Tuesday, March 17, where she fell down the stairs and broke her left leg in two places. She’s had one surgery to help stabilize her leg and is awaiting another surgery to fix it in the next few weeks. She will be needing to do extensive rehab to help her walk on her good leg. She’s been bed ridden since her accident. Since the hospital can’t really do much until her next surgery, they are wanting to send her to a rehabilitation facility, where they can help take care of her.
She will be off her feet for at least 3-6 months, maybe even a bit longer until she recovers fully.
We weren’t really prepared for something like this to happen & the medical bills are already stacking up.
