Meet Amy, a dedicated granddaughter who selflessly cared for her grandfather until he passed away. She also lovingly looked after her Granny until she passed in 2006. After her grandfather's passing, Amy found herself burdened with unpaid bills that were overlooked by her mother, who was the Power of Attorney at the time. In order to take care of these expenses, Amy had to take out a loan while working from home. Recently, she encountered unexpected financial setbacks when she had to pay $700 in property taxes and replace a hot water heater, all while battling illness. Despite her best efforts, Amy has fallen behind on some of her essential expenses. Currently, she urgently needs help with this month's utilities, including a power bill of $227, water/gas bill of $75, and a forgotten trash pickup bill of $99. In the face of these challenges, Amy is reaching out and humbly asking for support. As an only child, she has no one else to turn to, and her mother, who is on mental disability, is unable to provide assistance. Having lived in Carbon Hill her whole life, Amy is navigating these difficulties on her own. Tragically, she also lost her father to suicide in 2001. Despite these immense challenges, Amy is working hard and has never had to ask for help until now. Your generous donations, no matter how small, will make a world of difference to Amy. Thank you for taking the time to read her story, and any support you can provide will be deeply appreciated.
