We came after a morning of pt for our daughter to our 1 year old English mastiff/German shepherd/husky mix with a hardened stomach, heavy breathing, this is not typical behavior from our rambunctious, energetic, loving boy.
He is very special to us from the beginning. When he was born, he was not breathing, born in the sac, my husband brought him back to life and pushed all the puppies out of the way for milk, hence the name Rudy.
Area vets were closed or im surgery couldnt see him, we then drove 40 min away only to have them closing in 2 min for lunch, knowing this could be bad, took him to Tulsa emergency center where we have found he has bloat and needed emergency surgery. The staff was very informative of what was needed. Cost wise and the need for emergency surgery.
All donations will go directly to his surgery and bringing him home to recover.
