So Alexis and Gabriel welcomed their first child together on February 9, 2022. Everything was perfect and they went home after 24 hours. However Alexis health did not get better, she rapidly declined. We thought it was the lupus. We went to the hospital on 3/2/22 for pre extisting kidney stones causing pain. Well her labs looked off and they were sent to pathology. On 3/3/2022 we were called to get Alexis back to the hospital for immediate admission because she has luekemia. She is now in her third hospital as all oncology was full. Alexis has - Acute Lymphoblastic luekemia with a Positive PH gene test making this extremely aggressive. If Alexis were to leave the hospital and not stay in for the months upon months it is going to take in and out they gave her 3 days to 2 weeks to live. It is significantly taking over her bone marrow and there is concern it is in her spinal fluid. This first stay will total in 6 weeks. Home for two weeks and back to this over and over. Treatment lasts up to two years minimum to reach remission. Alexis already being immunocompromised is making this even harder. Now on top of her and Gabriel first child she has sole custody of her five year old and two year old. They have help with them through family however Gabriel has had to leave work to souly take care of Olivia and Alexis and running things back and forth she will need not to mention the amount of home care she will need from him and her sister. Therefore saying funds is tight is an understatment as Alexis to had to stop working. Anything is appreciated. Even just a share means more then you know.
