Good evening everyone, 

I just wanted to let everyone know how things are progressing. 
Since I have struggled with my balance issues, I have had many falls over the last year or so. In February one fall in particular tore my rotator cuff completely off the shoulder. It was torn in two places and I had surgery on March 7,2022. The doctor found the rotator cuff behind my shoulder blade and used 4 screws and 14 stitches to reattach the cuff to the bone. My back problems have been getting worse lately aggravated by the falls. I had back surgery on July 7,2022. It was a high risk 4 hour surgery. They opened a vertebrae to give the nerves more room, cut out 2 of my spinal processes, ground the bone, added more bone and fused the spine in the front of the vertebrae. They said it would be about a 6 inch scar but it runs from my waist down. It's more like 18 inches. I am healing well, but in need of help to do ordinary household chores. My insurance keeps denying coverage so I'm grateful to my older sister for being here while I recover and taking care of my 6 year old special needs daughter. I want to thank everyone again for  their heartfelt donations. I wanted to post an update. I have been healing from a torn and retracted rotator cuff in my left shoulder. It has been the most painful of all my surgeries. The doctor had to search for my rotator cuff and he reattached it with 4 anchors and 14 stitches. I am tired. The pain to heal was a pain that caused me to want to give up. But God!! The pain is a little better now. And still, I know when I see Jesus, I will have no more pain. In the mean time, I will just Praise God and stand on His promises. May you all be Blessed as you walk on your life path.
