I never expected to be in a position where I would need to ask for help, but I’m doing my best to move forward honestly and responsibly.
Over the past year, I’ve experienced several personal and financial hardships that have deeply impacted my life and stability. One of the most painful experiences I’ve gone through was the loss of my baby through stillbirth. That loss affected me emotionally, mentally, and financially in ways that are difficult to fully explain, and rebuilding afterward has been an ongoing process.
During a difficult period of unemployment, I relied on unemployment benefits to help cover basic living expenses such as housing, food, bills, and necessities while searching for work. Recently, I was informed that I must repay more than $13,000 due to a disqualification determination. The repayment has created a major financial hardship, especially while I am still working to regain financial stability and secure steady employment.
At the moment, I have no stable income and monthly expenses that continue to add up. I am actively applying for jobs, attending interviews, and doing everything I can to improve my situation. I’m also trying to cooperate with repayment requirements and avoid collections or additional financial penalties.
