At 53 years old I never thought I would be where I am. I battled and conquered a drug addiction, raised 4 kids single handedly, ( working, Not on welfare ) I struggled. Every birthday, every holiday, every new school year. It was me, and only me. The only guy my children saw me with, became their step dad. Until I found him dead. Biggest blow in life so far.
As my children got older they left the nest. But not in the typical way. My oldest is lost on fentanyl. ( I'm waiting for that deadly phone call.) My second daughter ran off with a guy that convinced her that I was the problem in their relationship. She's still stuck there, ( my third daughter tells me it's very toxic) My third child, my son. He was the hardest to raise. Severe and chronic oppositional defiant disorder, PTSD, severe ADHD, and depression because his dad was nowhere in sight. I spent 10 years with counselors skill builders psychiatrist psychologists, and My girls paid the price. They were on the back burner while I was trying to contain my son and his out of control behavior. I'm sure his stepdad dying had a lot to do with that. My fourth child my baby my last daughter. She has a beautiful independent life. Fortunately and unfortunately my oldest daughter has abandoned her kid with my youngest daughter. And now she's raising a child that's not even hers and she doesn't have children. I'm proud of her. I got into a relationship and I built a really good life for about 13 years. Then I hit menopause. And not I lost that relationship. I love that person very much. Shortly after that, I had to put my beautiful dog to sleep she was very old. And here I sit in the house, where I raised my kids I raised my dog I had a beautiful family I had a beautiful life, and now my house is being taken from me. Due to circumstances that are out of my control. It's not because I didn't work hard or I didn't pay the bills, it was not because I'm neglectful in any way shape or form. It's because my beautiful landlords need to sell the house because it's interfering with their Medicare as they grow into mature age. They've offered to sell me the house first. Nobody knows it's on the market. I applied and I qualified with a $2,600 mortgage. I have 300,000, and if I had 50,000 more, I can keep my home with a mortgage I can afford. I don't know that my heart can take any more loss. So I'm asking for help, it takes a lot for me to do so but every five bucks counts.
I really need the community's help. If I should receive such help I have three bedrooms one is mine and I will dedicate one of the bedrooms to helping somebody else.
So if you can find it in your heart to just donate five bucks I would be so forever grateful.
