My name is Glemil Paris. I plead for the kindness of your hearts to help my 5 brothers and I fund my youngest brother, Gwen Marion Paris’ kidney transplant.
Growing up, my brothers and I have always been really close. We all squeezed into one small bedroom with 2 bunkbeds. We shared and passed down clothes and toys to each other. We went to the same school and it was always the 6 of us on a basketball team.
Now that were all grown up and live in different location, we all still try our best to support our family.
It is at this time that our bond as brothers and prayers isn’t enough. We’re asking your help keep our youngest brother alive.
My brother, Gwen Marion C. Paris, is 21 years old born on 17 February 2001 and lives in the Philippines. He is currently a Pharmacy student in one of the universities in that country. However, this month he has been diagnosed to have Chronic Kidney Disease Stage 5. At a young age, the hopes and dreams of my brother have come to a halt. He is now dependent on a dialysis machine to sustain his life until he gets a transplant which he needs to get by April 2023.
All of us in the family are ready to donate our kidney and will need to undergo tests to ensure compatibility. However, everything is dependent on raising the necessary funds to do this operation. What we have right now is not enough. And we need $60,000.00 for his whole operation and future ongoing therapy
As one of the older brother, it pains our heart to see him suffer. He is a model student, a consistent honor awardee in the university and is currently of cum laude standing. Aside from that, he is active as a student leader in the campus where fellow students look up to his leadership and vision. He is also a caring, respectful and loving son and brother. He can be so much more but right now everything is put on hold.
This is not an easy fight that he and us his family can do alone. With your help, we can help Gwen achieve his dream of graduating from college and becoming a doctor.
