The Murdoch case on court corruption is the tip of the iceberg. South Carolina Family Court Corruption is legendary, but now my family has been caught in the family court trap. My ex-husband has been harmed as well. You see, I tried to get him tested for some sort of neurological disease because he was seeing hallucinations and having delusional conversations with me, but alas I was refused relief. I ultimately had to get his doctor to call and tell him it was time for his annual check-up and for him to come in. I told his physician to give him every test in the book. He did, and my ex-husband was diagnosed with a blood cancer. As we all know, the blood feeds his brain which is why he started acting out of character. My youngest child told me "Dad's attorney told him, he's gonna get divorced in 3 months and he's gonna git half of your assets mom and keep all of his." Of course 5 years later, almost 6 the case is now on appeal. Don't get me wrong, I received a lot of assets most of which were already mine, but unfortunately none were liquid, so I need help to pay for the transcripts and appeal costs.
My children were illegally taken from me through a series of false accusations of physical and mental child abuse and alcohol abuse. I was required to have a paid supervisor to see my children despite being found subsequently innocent of the physical child abuse allegations. Then they said I was emotionally abusing the children. Again, I was found innocent through a directed verdict. When I proved to the internal appeals committee that the "expert witness...another lawyer, lied, I was granted a directed verdict (judgement on the pleadings). With the power of the pen, South Carolina judges make up facts, make up lies, allow attorneys to lie to their face, then call the lawyers "accomplished." Their hijinks must end. I remember when I was a little girl, my grandfather, a business man used to say "I gotta call my Liar." He is fact was saying Lawyer in such a way as to make the heard word Liar. I always thought it was funny, albeit a bit disrespectful. I have changed that opinion, the phrase was stated with "all due respect." Now, I have met some ethical hard working lawyers, but in family court, the willingness to lie is a required lapse in ethics to be successful. Nevertheless, I find myself without the ability to pay for the final transcripts and would very much appreciate a loan, donation, cheerful word or any other sort of encouragement. I along with other women have gone to jail because of the Richland County Court lapses and out right corruption. Some people think the same way and in the primary, a majority of voters said court reform should occur. I think we should give the judges a public spanking with a wooden paddle when we find them violating the law, lying, cheating etc. and then take away their judgeship. Can they just be ethical and do their job without pandering to their legal colleagues? not sure of this answer, but I do know I need to try my best. Could you please send this to 10 of your friends many small donations will end in a good result. If i can identify you, when this is over, I'll pay you back! or allow you to pay your donation forward to another mother caught in the Richland County Family Court drama! Thank you for reading, and please pray that my children heal from this horror. May God Bless you and Keep You! and make the road rise to meet you. With appreciation Rhonda Meisner.
