My 2003 Volvo XC90 AWD 2.5T has a torn front-left CV axle boot, and the axle is now on borrowed time. It is slinging grease, which means the joint is exposed and can fail if I keep driving it too long.
I need this SUV to get to work, but I’m currently not in a position to cover the part cost. I’ve already checked local salvage yards, including Dietz and A-1 Johnson, but neither had the axle available. If I can source the part, I have someone who can help install it.
I’m trying to raise enough to get a front-left/driver-side CV axle quickly so I can keep my vehicle safe enough for work transportation.
