EVERNU ATX started as an idea developed while working as an assistant to the licensed art therapist at the Texas State Hospital.
Of the fifty states Texas ranks forty-eighth in releasing federal funds for mental health services. EVERNU will focus on raising awareness of this issue through a community of supportive artists working together for needed change.
The donations received will go directly towards the publication of my website www.evernu.org and other subscription costs. Once better established EVERNU will look to work in collaboration with other local Austin area art nonprofits, specifically, The Sims Foundation and Art Spark Texas. two organizations that have benefited me personally.
