Nineteen years have passed since my mom passed away after fighting brain cancer for 11 years. She left an indelible mark on everyone who knew her, and as the 20th anniversary of her passing approaches, I’ve been looking for a meaningful way to honor her life and legacy.
Through the Gray Hawk Foundation: Honoring Her, Funding Hope, I’ll be spending the next year raising funds to support brain cancer research and patient support for families facing this disease.
Every dollar raised will be donated in her memory.
The first event is a marathon on October 3rd, which I’ll be running in her honor. It’s just the beginning, with more events planned throughout the year as we work toward her 20th anniversary.
My hope is that by honoring her story, we can help bring hope and support to families still fighting their own battles with brain cancer. 🤍
