Please Help Jadyn 💙
My 15-year-old nephew, Jadyn, had to RESCHEDULE his life-saving surgery because his family could not afford the travel, lodging, and other costs.
Jadyn has a condition called tracheomalacia. Jadyn, has been under the care of the Esophageal & Airway Treatment Center at Boston Children’s Hospital for severe tracheomalacia, a condition that causes his airway to collapse and makes it very difficult for him to breathe normally. He currently using only 10% of his airy and spends most of his days in bed because his body simply cannot do more. He should be excited about starting his freshman year at Alexander Central High School—not worried about whether he can get the medical care he desperately needs.
His surgery was scheduled for August so he could miss as little school as possible, but it has now been pushed to October, meaning even more missed school and recovery time.
His mom is a cancer survivor and lives with MS, and she is doing everything in her power to get her baby the care he needs. Having to postpone his surgery because of finances has been heartbreaking.
