Hey yall! My name is Tiffany Bourque and I am from south central Louisiana. My fiance, Jay Trahan and I have been engaged since midnight NYE of 2022. 1 whole year of being engaged! Jay and I have been together for 5 and a half years and look forward to getting old together. He's my very best friend and the best person I know. I thank my lucky stars I have been blessed to share this life with him.
We decided to make this fundraiser to try to raise money for our upcoming wedding on September 5th, 2023. Jay and I will be eloping in Sapphire Point near Dillon, Colorado.
UPDATE:
Jay and I moved our wedding date back due to my VSG surgery being scheduled on 8/22/23. Unable to travel for 6 weeks after surgery, we had to make the difficult decision. As of today, we would be less than a week from our elopement, but instead, I'm home healing. 😔
It's bittersweet! Since I have already purchased my dress and would never want to wear another one, we decided to get married here at home in our backyard under the trees and next to the bayou. November 4th, 2023!! Our elopement is now an actual wedding and I've got SO much to do!
I have no guidance on how to plan a wedding but I'm gunna make it happen. I have very little family support and our parents can't help us with the financial strain of a wedding due to being on fixed incomes.
