Let's stand together and help out David Martin (D&D water) to rebuild his Family business that was vandalized by burning down all of his water trucks. It was not only an attack on him and his family but an attack on our community!
David was born and raised here in St. Thomas. He is a gradutate from Eudora Kean High school class of 1991. He started this business in 2011. He wanted a business that he could pass on to his family. He is hard working and loved by all of his customers and fellow virgin Islanders. It is a shame that thugs destroyed it in minutes. I can not express the true impact of this loss to you.
This act of evil a 900,000.00 dollar impact for this family. David did have insurance but it will not nearly cover his losses fully. This will also take months before he sees any relief from them. As fellow neighbors we all know to well how insurance works here on island. The family is not seeking for all thier losses but just enough to get them a truck so that D & D water can continue to support thier customers. Their daughter's words descride it best. see below~
