Sometimes life changes unexpectedly, and you find yourself having to start over sooner than you ever planned.
I recently lost my job, leaving me with very limited resources and housing insecurity. Despite the setback, I worked hard to apply to other opportunities and I am relieved to share I was offered a job. This job requires me to relocate from Houston, TX to Indianapolis, Indiana where I managed to arrange housing.
The biggest obstacle right now is simply getting getting there by August 18th.
I'm asking for support to cover the immediate costs travelling to Indianapolis as well as making it through my first couple of weeks while of work before my first paycheck.
Here's what your support will help cover:
✈️ Flight + 2 checked bags — $450
🚗 Transportation — $200
This will help cover my travel in a new city while I sort out work commutes and wait for my paycheck.
💰 Safety OSHA approved work uniform — $150
Total goal: $800
Asking for help isn't easy. I feel so close to the stability I have worked hard to reach. I just need to get to Indianapolis.
