Our mother JoAnna is one of the most kind, caring and strongest woman we know. Unfortunately, she came down with Covid and things turned for the worst after 14 days battling it. She was transported via ambulance to the hosipital due to very low blood sugar levels. She was stabilized and sent home. 2 days later the ambulance was called out again due to her Oxygen levels dropping to 74% and she was transported and admitted to the hospital. We were able to visit her for a few mins. once she was in her room, she wanted to record a message and take a picture for her grandkids... She has 9 ranging form 4 - 17 years old and is a big part of all of their lives. Unfortunately 24hrs after that my brother and I got horrible news that our mom was on the verge of being intubated and the likelyhood of her surviving that is very slim and we needed to plan for the worst. We believe in prayers, miracles and positive thoughts .... We just got word that she is now moving in a positive direction with her oxygen levels but they are still trying to manage her sugar levels that have dropped dangerously low a few times while being in the hospital. We are grateful for every positive step forward big or small during this uncertainty. The doctor did infrom us if she does pull through she has a very long road of recovery and we should already plan for Long Term Care. So we humbly come and ask for financial help, my mom is self employed so all of the financial stress is put on our family and we could use as much help as possible to relief this financial stress at the moment and the near future. I only wish financial responsibilities would pause just for a moment during all this but sadly thats not how it works. By helping relieve this stress factor from us and our mother (because I know she carries that with her), we will be able to put all of our focus to her recovery during this very uncertain time.
Thank you in advance we truly do appreciate any and all help.
