Viviana has always been my miracle. When doctors told us she wouldn't survive birth, she proved them wrong. When they said she might never read or write, she surprised us all by embracing words as her passion. Born with Turner’s syndrome, her journey hasn't been easy, but her resilience is nothing short of extraordinary. Now, as she stands on the brink of becoming the first in our family to graduate from college, I am filled with pride and hope. Watching her grow into the incredible, intelligent woman she is today has been one of my greatest joys.
Living in San Antonio, our life has been a series of challenges, but Viviana has always been a beacon of inspiration. Her determination to excel defies all expectations, as she aspires to teach and hopes to one day share her love of learning in China. With her college expenses weighing heavily on us, it's hard to meet the remaining $1,100 needed to get her across the finish line, especially as I manage on a fixed income due to my disability.
Viviana's journey is symbolized by butterflies and the color purple, emblems of Turner’s syndrome. Coincidentally, these are beloved by BTS, her source of strength through tough times. Their music helped her push forward when things felt overwhelming. Witnessing her achieve this milestone would mean the world to me, as she embodies the spirit of perseverance and hope.
