Hello family & friends!
I am incredibly excited to be embarking on a ~120 mile running adventure from Hyalite Canyon above Bozeman, MT to Canyon Village, WY in Yellowstone National Park.
I love and admire the ecosystems that this route connects, and understand that this experience is only possible because of public lands. In that spirit, I welcome anyone who feels so inclined to join me in working to protect and grow access to public lands by pledging to contribute whatever you might be able per each mile run: one minute of volunteer time, one cent, one dollar.
I have chosen to support Wild Montana with this fundraising page. I believe strongly in their partnership-based approach to building relationships with wild spaces across Montana as demonstrated by their recent work in collaboration with the Apsaalooke Nation and the Crazy Mountains - a range I hold great respect for. Your support for this organization would mean the world to me. This platform will automatically transfer all donations directly to Wild Montana.
With this being said, I would also encourage anyone to share with causes, organizations, or ideals that you care about in your own communities as well. Should you be interested in contributing to a cause of your own, feel free to share what that cause might be below - I would love to hear about them! :)
If you would like to participate, feel free to share what you would like to pledge per-mile in the comments below (or make a mental note - whatever you like best!). As the adventure unfolds, I will share updates as I am able and will share the total number of miles run once the adventure concludes - please make whatever donation you would like to make at that time!
If you would like to explore the route, feel free to take a look HERE!
Thank you to any and all who choose to join - your time, energy, and belief in the causes you care about are beyond special and I am incredibly lucky to have a family and community who exemplify service and care the way you each do!
Happy trails!
Jack
