Today, we humbly come together with faith and love to support an extraordinary man:
Dr. Carlos Vasquez, a doctor, husband, father, grandfather, friend, and a human being who has spent his life serving and helping others.
Carlos cancer has returned, starting radiation every day for 38 days, then injections for a few months. and he is now facing new and serious health challenges, including heart-related issues. Alongside this physical battle comes an overwhelming emotional and financial burden, made even harder with no health insurance. This season has placed his family in a very vulnerable position.
Carlos’ life has been marked by trials from an early age multiple surgeries, severe health struggles, and moments when he nearly lost his leg as a child. Together with his wife Ruth, they have walked through decades of challenges: years of hardship, miracles, loss, and tests that can only be endured through deep faith in God.
Yet through it all, Carlos never stopped giving to others. He always put people first.
Now, for the first time in his life, Carlos needs others to stand with him.
This fundraiser is more than financial support; it is a call to compassion, unity, and action. Every donation brings relief, hope, and the chance for Carlos to focus on what matters most: his family, health and healing.

Hoy levantamos esta campaña con humildad, fe y amor para apoyar a un hombre extraordinario, el Dr. Carlos Vázquez, doctor, esposo, padre, amigo y un ser humano que ha dedicado su vida a servir y ayudar a otros.
Carlos es sobreviviente de cáncer y actualmente enfrenta nuevamente importantes retos de salud, incluyendo problemas en el corazón. A esta batalla física se suma una carga emocional y financiera muy pesada, especialmente al no contar con un seguro médico adecuado. Esta situación ha colocado a su familia en una etapa de gran vulnerabilidad.
La vida de Carlos no ha sido fácil. Desde joven ha enfrentado duras pruebas de salud, múltiples cirugías y momentos en los que estuvo a punto de perder una pierna. Junto a su esposa Ruth, han caminado un largo camino lleno de desafíos: años de lucha, milagros, pérdidas y pruebas que solo se superan con una fe profunda en Dios.
A pesar de todo, Carlos nunca dejó de ayudar a otros. Siempre puso a los demás primero.
Hoy, por primera vez en su vida, Carlos necesita que otros lo ayuden a él.
Esta campaña no es solo para recaudar fondos; es un llamado a la compasión, a la empatía y a la unidad. Cada donación representa alivio, esperanza y la oportunidad de que Carlos se enfoque en lo más importante: en su salud, su recuperación y su familia.
