For nearly five years, I have been working toward one goal: building a stable home for my children and creating something lasting for my family.
In August of 2021, I stepped out on faith and purchased a piece of land — something I honestly never imagined would be possible for me at the time. I did not come from wealth, and I did not have money sitting in the bank. I simply had a vision, determination, and the willingness to keep going even when life became difficult.
Since then, every step of this journey has been built through sacrifice, hard work, long days, sleepless nights, and persistence. As a single mother, including raising a child with special needs, the pressure of life can sometimes feel overwhelming. Still, I kept pushing forward. Over the years, I’ve managed to purchase materials, prepare the property, and assemble a team willing to help continue the work.
At one point, I even tried to build a small, tiny home on the property myself — pulling out the drill, saws, and learning as I went — simply because I was determined not to give up on creating something for my children. I had never even operated certain tools before this journey, but I was willing to learn, shovel dirt, move materials, and do whatever I could to keep this dream alive for my family.
I have worked hard to create opportunities for myself and my family, trying different ideas and income streams while balancing the everyday responsibilities of motherhood and life. There were nights I fell asleep at the computer researching, planning, and trying to keep this dream alive because I didn’t want to lose the progress I had worked so hard for. There have also been nights where I laid in bed and cried, overwhelmed and wondering how I was going to make it all happen.
As the project continued, I quickly realized that some parts of the building process were far more expensive than I originally anticipated. Even with the hard work, long hours, and determination, certain costs such as concrete, labor, materials, grading, and site preparation can become overwhelming for a small business owner and single mother trying to build something meaningful from the ground up.
Instead of giving up, I am choosing to reach out to the community and local businesses for partnership support.
Today, I am closer than I have ever been.
The next major step is completing the foundation and block work for the home. I already have the materials needed, but the labor and concrete costs are beyond what I can currently carry alone.
This is not a request for luxury. This is a mother trying to finish what she started and create stability, peace, and security for her children.
I am currently seeking contractors, concrete companies, laborers, equipment operators, suppliers, and community-minded businesses who may be willing to donate labor, materials, services, or sponsor a portion of this project. Every contribution, large or small, truly makes a difference.
As a way of showing appreciation, supporting businesses and sponsors will be recognized on my websites, social media platforms, future community events, and promotional materials as community partners who helped bring this vision to life. In addition, select sponsors may also receive appreciation gifts and travel incentives through Gracefully Signature Travel as a heartfelt thank-you for supporting this journey.
This project is bigger than me. It represents hope, opportunity, community support, and building something lasting for families and future generations. If you or your business would like to partner, contribute services, materials, or simply words of encouragement, or support in any way, please reach out directly. I would truly love to connect.
Even the smallest act of support helps move this dream one step closer to reality for my family.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story, for believing in hard work, and for supporting families like mine who are simply trying to make something out of nothing, one step at a time. ❤️
