Hello! We are the family and friends of David Starks. Our goal is to raise $60,000 to cover David's cancer surgeries, his hospital stay, and the post-operative care required through December 31, 2025.
Two years ago, David found himself in a predicament familiar to millions—employed yet unable to afford health insurance. Unfortunately, it was during this time that he received a diagnosis of Micropapillary Bladder Cancer, a rare and aggressive form of the disease. While David’s new insurance is set to begin January 1, 2026 his doctors advise against waiting for treatment due to the risk of spreading to lymph nodes and metastasizing. David's bladder removal surgery is scheduled for December 4.

From running in the streets to keeping kids off of the streets. Yet in all spaces and during all phases, David has been the same: genuine and generous.
