My Aunt Margie is a remarkable woman. She was a dedicated Registered Nurse who has spent her life caring for others. For years, she worked tirelessly to provide for her five children, including one with Down’s syndrome, especially after losing her husband over a decade ago. She’s always been a pillar of strength for her family, putting everyone else’s needs before her own, even while struggling financially for many years.
Now she’s facing her toughest battle yet: grade 3b follicular lymphoma. This aggressive form of cancer has come as a shock, but true to her spirit, she’s a fighter determined to beat it. She’s undergoing treatments that are giving her hope for recovery, but the medical bills and associated costs are mounting quickly.
I’m reaching out for help because she deserves a fighting chance. Any donations will go directly toward her medical treatments, medications, and any necessary support services to ease the financial burden. Every contribution, no matter the size, can help her focus on healing with much less stress and allow her to spend that much more time with her children and grandchildren. I know that $30,000 will barely scratch the surface in their financial needs in this day and age especially for the kinds of treatments needed, but it will still help and that’s what matters.
Thank you for your kindness and generosity during this challenging time.
