My name is Jessica from the United States, and I am raising funds for my dear friend Kamal.
My name is Kamal Al-Najjar, 17 years old, from Khan Younis, Gaza. My family and I desperately need your support as we face incredible challenges amidst the ongoing conflict. We were forced to leave our home in Khuza'a and have been displaced multiple times, most recently just two days ago. Now, we find ourselves in Gaza City without shelter, food, or even basic necessities.
This is our tenth displacement, and each time it gets harder and harder to survive. We have no tent, no safe shelter, and no way to secure even a little food. The humanitarian situation here is dire, and every day we struggle to survive.
I suffer from hemolytic anemia, a condition that makes it difficult for my body to produce enough healthy red blood cells. I also have an enlarged spleen and other serious health issues. This weakens me at a time when my family needs me to be strong. Without adequate medical care, our health is deteriorating, and we fear for our lives. We are six people, including my parents and siblings, and we all rely on any assistance we can find to get through this crisis.
Since the beginning of the war, we have had no steady income or access to resources. We are constantly afraid of illness and hunger. Many around us have already lost their lives due to the lack of food, clean water, and medical care. We wake up each day not knowing if we will survive until the next.
We are asking for your help to raise the necessary funds to meet our most urgent needs. Your generous donations will be used to:
• Provide shelter: We need to secure a safe place to stay, whether that's by renting a small apartment or finding a reliable tent.
• Purchase food and clean water: We are in dire need of food supplies and clean drinking water to prevent malnutrition and dehydration.
