Help Me Bring My Daughter Home ❤️
I’m asking for help during what has been one of the most terrifying and heartbreaking situations I’ve ever faced as a mother.
My 13-year-old daughter is currently in Mississippi, and I have serious concerns about her safety and well-being while in her father’s care. She has reached out to me repeatedly expressing that she is scared and does not feel safe. There are also serious concerns involving her mental and emotional well-being and whether she is receiving the care she needs.
As her mother, I cannot sit back and do nothing. I have been working to pursue emergency legal intervention so that a judge can hear what is happening and determine what is safest for her. I have retained an attorney who is working to pursue emergency custody and protective relief on her behalf.
Unfortunately, the legal process is expensive, and I am facing thousands of dollars in attorney fees and court-related costs that I never anticipated having to take on. I would do absolutely anything to protect my child, but I cannot do this alone.
Any amount, no matter how small, would help me continue fighting for my daughter and getting her somewhere she can feel safe and receive the care she needs. If you aren’t able to donate, sharing this fundraiser would mean just as much to me.
I know there are a lot of fundraisers and causes asking for help, and I don’t take it lightly that I’m asking for yours. I am simply a mother trying to protect her child and make sure her voice is heard.
