The Psychological Association of WNY has recognized the importance of supporting racial and ethnic minority doctoral students who are highly under represented in Clinical & Counseling Psychology Doctoral programs according to data collected by the APA (American Psychological Association)
To assist with this goal we are offering non competitive scholarship gifts to be awarded once annually to qualified applicants who are currently enrolled in our local doctoral training programs
Over the past 4 years we have provided financial awards of $1000 each to support a total of 17 doctoral students! We are very proud of our awardees who are very accomplished in their performance in their respective programs and we hope they will continue to flourish in their chosen areas of interest in our field
As we are a not for profit organization*, we need your help to continue these efforts and appreciate any amount you can give to this scholarship fund
All donations will be designated solely for this award program
*Donations are not tax deductible as we are a 501c6 organization however you can be sure that your money will be well spent to support this worthy cause
