We wanted to share a quick update on Rocky. She spent the entire day at the vet, and while we’re still searching for clear answers, she is thankfully feeling better. She was able to eat a good amount at dinner and breakfast, which felt like a big win for us.
Yesterday, the vet let us know that her tooth is not actually broken. Due to the infection and swelling, it initially appeared that way, but they have now ruled a broken tooth out. While that brings some relief, it also means we’re still trying to pinpoint exactly what’s causing her pain.
Over the past few months, Rocky has had countless vet visits, and in just the last three months we’ve spent well over $2,000 trying to keep her comfortable and get answers. The ongoing care, testing, and treatment have continued to add up quickly.
