I'm needing to fundraise in order to cover my rent for me and my daughter. The church I used to belong to was paying it and they decided on their own, with no plan or communication during the time I was receiving the help, to end it. It has been a very disappointing and stressful process to say the least. I pray for their eyes to be opened and minds to be enlightened.
The only public resources available to me as a single mom, help with rent only in small amounts. $60-$70. And I can only receive those funds after I have the rest of my rent.
As a middle aged single mom, I work, I'm in school and I'm trying to remain emotionally present for my young daughter so she doesn't have to endure what I did as a child. And I do it all with no family support and no car for the last 2 years. I am completely on my own. We would greatly appreciate any amount you can help with.
