Hi Friends!
I'm Scarlett O’hanlon.
I’ve spent my life facing surgeries that most people could never imagine, battles that I didn’t choose, but have shaped every part of who I am. I was born with a life threatening heart defect and in July, I survived a nine-hour, experimental open heart surgery that rebuilt my heart, piece by piece. When I opened my eyes afterward, I realized I had been given the greatest gift of all, time.
Today, I am using my voice to advocate for children navigating heart disease, bringing comfort, courage, and hope to their journeys and now I am raising funds for educational scholarships and heart research with the AHA GO RED x Miss America collaboration! American Heart Association's Go Red for Women has joined forces with Miss America's Scholarship Foundation to raise both research dollars AND tuition scholarships, ensuring a healthier, smarter future for women in America.
Your support is needed, and so greatly appreciated. Join the movement to end heart disease and provide tuition scholarships to women in America. No donation is too small!
