Please Help Us Support My Dad ❤️🙏
I’m asking for prayers and support for my dad as our family faces something we never expected.
My dad has been diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma, an aggressive form of cancer. He is in very serious condition right now. The entire right side of his face is extremely swollen, and the cancer has eaten through the bone in his face. He has lost the ability to see out of his right eye, and he is facing a very extensive and intrusive surgery.
My dad battled kidney cancer and had his kidney removed within the past few years. His doctors believe this cancer may be related to the cancer he had last year. Right now, they are waiting on a PET scan that we have already been waiting a week for, and unfortunately, his condition continues to get worse while we wait.
His treatment will require him and my mom to travel 3.5 hours to Oklahoma City for surgery and ongoing care. This is going to be a long and difficult road, and my dad is understandably very discouraged. This is a very aggressive cancer, and we know the fight ahead of him will not be easy.
I am starting a GoFundMe to help my parents with the expenses that come with this journey — especially gas, travel, food, and other necessities while they are traveling back and forth for his treatment.

Most importantly, please pray for my dad. Pray for healing, strength, peace, and courage as he faces this fight. And please pray for my mom as well. She is doing everything she can to take care of him, drive him to appointments, be by his side, and be his strength through all of this. I know this is taking an incredible emotional and physical toll on her too.
