Hi, I’m Eden, a South African student starting my second year at Boyce College (The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary) in the U.S. I was a mission kid—born and raised in India for 12 years alongside my older and younger brother—before we moved to the UAE, where I spent the rest of my childhood and teen years. I never even dreamed of being able to study abroad in the USA, but my parents saw this as an amazing opportunity for me to not only gain a degree, but also grow in my own biblical education. They have given everything to make this possible, but now they simply can’t support me anymore. That’s why I’m urgently raising funds for my next year of school—and, Lord willing, toward my entire degree—so I don’t lose the progress I’ve already made.
