Linda (Reed) Burge was a kind and very generous person who gave her time and money to others without hesitation. She often did for others anonymously. She unfortunately was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer that had metastasized to the liver at the beginning of February. She died a month and few days later. Chemotherapy wasn’t not an option

Linda had many friends; everyone who met her found her to be kind and gentle. She was fun-spirited and a devout Christian.

Linda grew up in Warren, MI, and attended Lincoln High School. After high school she moved to Cedar Springs, MI, where she attended Jordan College. It was there that she met her husband Steve, with whom she had three daughters.

Linda and Steve worked at Pineview Homes, a faith-based organization for youth, after graduation. Linda graduated with her B. S. from Grand Valley State university a few years later.

Throughout her life, Linda’s most important job was raising a family. She did work a variety of jobs during her lifetime, and touched the lives of others wherever she worked.

Linda will be missed by her family and friends more than we can say. To those of us who knew her, she was a blessing.
