Fixing Felines of Islip Township / PO Box 94 Islip Terrace NY 11752 631.439.5796 fixingfelinesofliny@gmail.com
Fixing Felines of Islip Township (FFoIT) is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt public charity whose mission is reducing the overpopulation of homeless, abandoned, and unwanted feral and stray cats and kittens. Felines will also be vaccinated against rabies and distemper as well as provided flea / tick / deworming treatments plus a mandatory ear tip.
The benefits of this program will include the reduction of disease, malnutrition and environmental dangers such as weather conditions, vehicles, and malevolent (human) forces. A decrease in wildlife disruption may also see a decline.
FFoIT’s target audience includes, but is not limited to, colony caretakers, senior citizens, veterans, low-income families, therapy / companion pets and so much more!
The formation of a FFoIT youth group will help to promote animal health and welfare throughout Long Island schools. The inclusion of this youth group will educate and encourage students to take an active role in the participation of helping all animals and people within their communities.
FFoIT is in the process of purchasing a spay/neuter mobile unit to bring our expertise to the requested locations, making it easier to reach the masses in desperate need of this service throughout Long Island New York communities.
