I started playing volleyball in eighth grade, not knowing it would become much more than just a sport for me. What began as a simple curiosity quickly bloomed into a deep passion that now shapes my goals and daily routine. As a junior in high school, I’m fully committed to honing my skills on the court while also maintaining a current GPA of 4.0. I plan to continue excelling in my academics just as much as in my sports, all while dreaming of a college scholarship that would allow me to compete at a higher level and invest in my future.
Volleyball has become my sanctuary. When I step onto the court, everything else fades away—the stress, the expectations, and the noise of daily life. In those precious moments, I enter what I lovingly refer to as “volleyball world.” Here, my focus is razor-sharp, and my purpose is crystal clear. The game demands my full attention, allowing me to play freely and confidently, and when I leave the court, I feel re-centered and motivated to tackle whatever comes next.
Beyond volleyball, I pour my heart into my community. I’m involved in our church youth ministry and volunteer with kids, which brings me immense joy. I work part-time coaching younger girls aged 10-12 in volleyball, and I also volunteer with special needs kids. Additionally, I volunteer with Project Mercy, a nonprofit dedicated to making a difference.
This fundraising campaign is crucial for covering my travel expenses with my team and club fees associated with my upcoming tournaments. I need to reach my goal before the end of February, so your support is vital. By donating, you’re not just supporting my volleyball journey; you’re investing in my growth as an athlete, a leader, and a person. Your support will provide me with the tools I need to pursue my dream of playing college volleyball while balancing my academic ambitions. Thank you for being part of this journey with me.
