Anyone who knows me knows how hard it is for me to ask for help. At this point, I really don’t know what else to do. I am only asking for help to cover the bare minimum needed, not a cent more.
We have just had extremely bad luck this month. It all started really last year when both my husband and I had to have surgeries a month apart. We used all our savings to keep the household afloat. Then, a few months back sales dipped at work and a whole lot less money was coming in. Then, last week, my horse nearly died from colic. We were able to save her, which wiped out the little bit I did have, but she has a long road ahead. Then, on Thursday, my car was plowed into by an suv and shoved into another car. It is not drivable and likely totaled. Of course, the insurance companies are fighting over who is liable. Neither will pay for a rental car.
Now, I do not have any way to get to work. We have no money. Nothing for the deductible, nothing for a rental car, nothing for my part of the bills, and nothing for Christmas. This will be the first time in my life that I will not be able to do anything for our kids for Christmas. Only one is still a kid so hoping the older ones will understand.
I have accepted 2 new jobs to rectify the income situation, but neither start until after the first of the year. My main thing is to be able to get some wheels so that I can go to work and to be able to cover bills until I start these two new jobs and start getting paid.
