Hey Guys, Aundi & Amanda here, and we are fundraising on behalf of our dear friend\daughter Shelby Foret. She's currently sitting in jail for crimes she didn't commit - the devastating result of years of manipulation by a man she trusted and loved.
For two and a half years, Shelby was in a relationship with someone who turned out to be a con artist. He isolated her from her family, friends, and job, promising a new beginning and better life in another state. Instead, he took out loans in her name, ran up her debt, and convinced her to cash checks he claimed were from his work. Those checks were fraudulent - and now she's the one paying the price. This same man has done the exact same thing to other victims — deceiving and ruining lives through his lies and manipulation.
Shelby has a 15-month old baby who needs his mom back. She's lost everything - her savings, her drivers license, and her freedom - all because she believed in someone who never told her the truth. She was framed for his crimes, and she desperately needs legal help to prove her innocence and begin to rebuild her life.
All donations from this fundraiser will go directly towards:
- Hiring an experienced defense attorney
- Covering court and legal fees
- Supporting basic needs for her child during this difficult time
Shelby is a kind, trusting soul who never imagined something like this could happen. She deserves the chance to clear her name and come home to her baby.
