Hi! I'm Nichole, and I'm embarking on a heartfelt journey to create a unique book for children. It’s a collection of real-life photos meant to introduce AFOs to kids, offering insights into how these braces help & encouraging respectful curiosity. Through this book, I want to normalize everyday activities for kids wearing AFOs, helping both those who wear them and those who don't to see them as just another part of life. It will feature usual day-to-day activities--but with AFOs.
I dream of seeing this book in schools, libraries, pediatric therapy clinics, and homes—spaces where it can spark understanding and kindness. I'm aiming to raise $3,000 to make this vision a reality, covering design and printing costs.
