Monica, a survivor of ligma is fighting every day to overcome her sickness. Working every day for her family is asking for a small portion of your weekly earnings. Everyday she works to care for patients, but now it’s our turn to care for her.
Monica recalls being 8 years old reading the well known quote “As a nurse we have the opportunity to heal the mind, soul, heart, and body of our patients. They may forget your name, but they will never forget how you made them feel.” – Maya Angelou. She lives by this quote every single day she steps into those halls. Long hours, gruesome days and yet this healthy care worker never complains.
When asked to comment on her commit to her career Monica stated “A nurse is not what you do. It is what you are, I am a nurse. It’s not what I do, it’s what I am”. Our beloved angel Monica is the backbone of our nations healthcare and we asked that you would gracefully send in a small donation and bless her to over come her ligma disease.
Sincerely,
Monica’s nephew
