I’m in search of sponsorship as little or as much that can be donated in hopes of winning Miss Florida Petite and then continuing to become Miss USA Petite. I currently hold the title of Miss Davenport Petite but need sponsorship in order to continue. I am a combat veteran who served in Afghanistan but was injured and as a result am now medically retired. I am a single mother who is a domestic violence survivor and due to the domestic violence lost my son and suffered from homelessness with my daughter. I have overcome many obstacles and would like a chance to shine light on the importance of mental health and many life challenges we all face day to day. I hope to inspire teens, young adults , and women who also face challenges to keep going and always reach for your dreams and know you are enough and you are strong enough. I still suffer from depression, ptsd, and tbi but this pageant keeps me going and gives me something to look forward to. Growing up I always heard the saying it takes a village to raise a child I’m here in Florida because of my abuser and now here all alone with no family only my daughter because I can’t move more than 50 miles of him because he was granted shared custody despite his abuse to her mother right in front of her. So let’s come together as a village no matter how small the donation anything will help for me to continue to run to become Miss Florida Petite and continue to inspire and show the world anything is possible and any goal is reachable with dedication.
