I’m reaching out to family, friends and colleagues
On July 15th I was diagnosed with
stage IV ovarian cancer, and while I am continuing to work with my medical team on my treatment, I am also pursuing additional and alternative approaches that I believe support my body, mind and spirit.
These treatments, therapies, supplements, travel, and related expenses are extremely costly, and are not covered by insurance. As a single mom, the financial weight of this journey has become overwhelming.
My greatest motivation is my 10 year old son, Solomon. As most of you know Solomon’s dad passed away 7 years ago. I can’t express the deepest ache I have to beat this and be here for him—not just today, but for all the years and milestones ahead.
I am doing everything I can to give myself the best chance possible.
