Our son Princeton (10 yrs old) was diagnosed with Leukemia on Easter Sunday earlier this year. This news shook our family but we accepted the challenge to take this head on. About two months into this fight he took a genetics MRI because of spots on his body. The results revealed more devastating news. The Dr’s diagnosed him with Constitutional Mismatch Repair Deficiency (known as CMMRD). He is one out of every one million kids diagnosed with this. CMMRD makes him high risk for other cancers, the most common are brain, colon, and large intestines. This means we gotta fight even harder. Much more medical surveillance, Dr visits, long hospitalizations, but we will do whatever it takes to keep him healthy and ultimately give him a long lifetime of happiness & joy. CMMRD will stay with him but we are committed to beat each cancer if or as it comes. We want to raise funds to help with medical costs not covered by insurance, treatment plans, time off from work as his parents, as well as raising awareness. Also, there are families around the world we want to help if we possibly can. That was Princeton’s wish.
Thank you for taking time to read this, we appreciate all the love we’ve been receiving from all of you. #Princetonstrong
