Muñeca, our family's beloved dog, has always brightened our days with her boundless energy. Her excitement at meeting neighborhood dogs and her irresistible habit of rolling over in greeting are just a few ways she captures hearts. Lately, though, Muñeca is facing a tough battle with a severe infection, and it's painful to see her once bright eyes dulled by discomfort.
These days, Muñeca no longer races to the door, eager to chase squirrels. Instead, she struggles with exhaustion, lying quietly, her breathing labored. Her once hearty appetite has faded, leaving her unable to keep any food down. The silence from the absent clatter of her paws echoes through our home, a constant reminder of her diminishing spirit.
The surgery offers a chance to bring back the vibrant Muñeca we adore, to fill our home once more with her joyful presence. Living in the tight-knit community of Barnegat, New Jersey, we are so grateful for the warmth and support that surrounds us. Knowing others care about Muñeca as much as we do gives us hope that she'll soon be back, wagging her tail with joy.
