My name is Gina Weber and I have been a friend and colleague of Margie Mobley for over 25 years.  It’s never easy to ask for help, but I’m sharing this news on behalf of our amazing friend.

Margie has received devastating news and was diagnosed with advanced pancreatic cancer on June 26th.  As you can imagine, this has been a very difficult time with many medical appointments on top of having to face the reality of something this daunting and having to share it with her children.

She is preparing to undergo an aggressive chemotherapy regimen immediately next week with the goal of becoming a surgical candidate to remove the tumor.  She has the most common, most aggressive form of pancreatic cancer, however, her medical team believes the cancer is localized. 🙏

Many of you know that Margie is an incredible single mother of 16 year old triplets, Taylor, Brianna and Chloe, who will be entering their junior year of high school this fall.  Margie is someone who always handles everything on her own, but she is always the first person to offer her assistance when someone needs it.  We want to do the same for her. ❤️

We are sharing her news, with her permission, and creating this fundraiser in an effort to help support Margie and her girls financially while she fights this difficult health battle now, and to help alleviate the stress and worry of what lies ahead.  She is a beloved mother, sister and friend and she is a valuable business partner to so many of us.  Thank you for your support and prayers! 🙏

I know she would love to hear from you 🥰

"So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."

Any contribution makes a big difference in Margie’s journey. Thank you.

Hi Everyone,

First of all, Happy Holidays to you and your families!
I wanted to give you an update on Margie's treatment progress. Pam and I joined Margie this week for two meetings with her medical team.  She had completed her radiation treatment on November 8th and today was a very important appointment to find out if she was a candidate for surgery. We met with the surgeon at MD Anderson this afternoon.

Her CA19 level (which is the tumor marker) is now at 78 from 2200+, which is fantastic, and the CT scan they did last week still shows no spreading of the cancer, and in fact, the tumor is a little smaller than it was. This is all great news!!!!!!!

The surgeon reviewed the scans and has cleared Margie for surgery! This is such a positive outcome and it wasn’t something Margie thought likely at the beginning of this journey, so we are so thrilled for Margie....and it was an emotional day too!

Surgery is scheduled for January 11th. It’s not an easy surgery but this surgeon specializes in it. He will remove the tumor, a large portion of the pancreas, the gall bladder and spleen.  Margie will probably be in the hospital for 3-5 days with recovery at home for weeks afterwards. Thank you all for your continued support and prayers for Margie and her girls!  They are working!!!

Margie definitely has reason to celebrate this holiday season and we look forward to a healthy new year for all!!!!

😘🙏❤️

Friends of Margie!   We just wanted to share another update with all of you.

Margie has completed her initial rounds of chemotherapy, and is moving on to radiation at the end of this week. She actually starts radiation on Thursday, which happens to be her 60th birthday! She has a positive outlook and is looking forward to be moving on to this stage of treatment.

She's been responding well to treatment, and is feeling well since finishing chemo. The great news is the cancer seems to be responding very well to treatment, and the bloodwork indicates that it is dying off, which is terrific news!

She's scheduled for at least three weeks of daily radiation treatment (M-F), and then she will have another scan and more bloodwork to see how she is responding. All of this may change, depending on how she responds to the radiation... but so far so good!

We don't know, and won’t know, the plans for treatment after the radiation therapy is complete, as that will entirely be determined by my bloodwork and scans at that time. Her Radiation Oncologist and the Surgeon are working closely together on her treatment plan, and will form a plan together, along with her Oncologist, going forward.

She and her girls truly appreciate your continued support, offers of help, and especially ongoing prayers.

Thank you again for everything, and please send more prayers for this next phase of her treatment. So far the prayers are working!!!

Hello everyone!  I wanted to share another update with all of you.  Margie will be wrapping up chemo next week. It will be her 6th round of chemo and she has been tolerating it the best she can.  She is so strong!!!  There were two consultations this week with her care team including her oncologist and surgeon.  They have agreed the next course of treatment following the 6th round of chemo is to proceed with radiation in preparation for surgery.  Radiation could take up to 5 weeks with a 6-8 week recovery period before surgery.  All of this is dependent on the results of the radiation treatment.  Please keep Margie and the girls in your prayers!  Her care team is amazing and she feels very positive!!!!  She has an amazing spirit and she is so strong!!!!  SHE IS A ROCKSTAR!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please continue to send her words of encouragement! Thank you everyone for your support!!! Gina

I wanted to share another update with all of you... Margie is half way through her aggressive chemo treatments. Today she started her 3rd round and the infusion lasts for 46 hours. She has some side effects but she's managing them pretty well.

This morning they ran labs and the results were very promising which means she is responding well and the chemo is doing its job!  She also gained 7 lbs!  Today was all good news and she is energized and grateful!!!!

Please keep Margie and the girls in your thoughts and prayers while she continues to fight! 💪🏼

Have a blessed day! 🙏

I just wanted to share an update with all of you! Thank you so much for all of your donations, prayers and support for Margie and her daughters!

Margie has completed her first round of chemotherapy (46 hours worth) and all things considered, she has tolerated it pretty well.  She does have some mild side effects but through all of this, she has a positive attitude and incredible fighting spirit!

She had a pet scan on Tuesday of last week and received good news Wednesday morning when she met with her medical team to start chemo.  The cancer did not spread and it is localized. She will have at least 4 more rounds of chemo before her next scan, and the goal is for Margie to become a surgical candidate.

KEEP PRAYING!! Thank you everyone for your support!!!
