On Jan 27 of this year, our only vehicle collided with a telephone pole and was totaled. The vehicle did not have gap insurance on it and we are extremely upside down on the loan. We are in a very tight spot financially and we are asking for help. We thank God nobody was injured as this could’ve been much worse.
it is still taking patience to deal with the finance company and insurance company to have the total loss value on the car sent over and paid off whatever they decide they are going to pay on the loan, and with an extreme delay in receiving income taxes we were going to be without a vehicle for a few more months. My dad was transporting us and now his car has broken down. We are in dire straights for getting myself and Josh to and from work and Nixon to and from school.
Extremely thankful for family who has stepped up to put a vehicle in their name for us!!! But we are absolutly wiping our accounts to come up with the down payment and praying it’s enough to get a decent vehicle. We will still be short to put a down payment on an insurance policy and there will be an outstanding balance on the previous car loan. We’ve exhausted all options and we are asking for help in any form.
