I am reaching out to help a dear friend who is currently fighting a custody battle with her narcissistic abusive ex husband. While dealing with a high risk pregnancy her then husband filed for divorce because she refused to terminate the pregnancy once it was determined the baby would have long term health issues. When the beautiful baby girl was born, he refused to show the child any type of affection. He did not show up to any doctor's appointments. He would pick up one child and not the child with long term disabilities. Once the divorce was finalized, the abusive father was ordered to pay child support. He waited exactly 3 years (which is the amount of time Texas allows you to modify an order) and is now trying to take full custody of both of the children in an attempt to cease child support payments.
