We are reaching out because we’ve had a incredibly difficult 24 hours. Early this morning, we woke up to a nightmare—our two-bedroom apartment was completely flooded due to a major maintenance failure.
While we are so thankful that we, and our one-year-old daughter Kenzie, are safe, our home is currently unlivable. We are in the process of extracting water, but many of our belongings—including Kenzie’s toys, furniture, and our living and dining room essentials—have been ruined.
Why we need your help:
Unfortunately, the property management is moving slowly, and our insurance company has informed us that claims can take 30 days or more to process. We are currently displaced as the are unwilling to relocate and need to find a safe, dry place to stay and replace immediate essentials for Kenzie while we wait for insurance to kick in.
We created this page for those who want to help but don't use Venmo or CashApp. Every dollar raised here will go directly toward:

• Replacing ruined essentials for our daughter.
• Damage and storage costs while our apartment is repaired.
