2021 has been a wild year for most, if not all, of us.  My family has been no exception to the curveballs-as some may know, earlier in the year we received the diagnosis’ that both of my parents would be touched by Covid, with my mother being hospitalized twice for covid pneumonia, and my father taking the ultimate hit of an official Covid diagnosis. During that time, he spent 63 days in critical care, 58 of those were spent on a ventilator, his prognosis became bleak at certain times but we remained strong. 115+ days later, we are finally seeing a light at the end of the tunnel. However, in addition to the already treacherous path we’ve had to walk, we’ve now reached a fork in the road, where both of my parents have faced something no one ever is prepared for, and that’s the loss of employment. I’m humbly asking my friends and family to try to help me brighten the light at the end that seems to get further and further…any and everything you can spare to give would be greatly appreciated, but if you can’t spare any monetary means, we still ask for and cherish any shares and good thoughts and prayers you can send our way.  #DarrenStrong
